November Coaching Clinics: Empowering Changemakers Through Flexible Industry Volunteering
This week, we delivered our November Coaching Clinics, bringing together over 15 Enactus teams and more than 25 volunteers to help our changemakers build capacity within their teams through tailored expert support. We welcomed teams from across the UK and Ireland with over 50 students, joined by volunteers from several of our corporate partners, including BDO, Amazon, SAP, and representatives from our Alumni network.

As part of the Clinics, participating university teams were also eligible for project funding. Every team attending had the opportunity not only to receive financial support but also to gain high-quality expert feedback, both of which directly contribute to accelerating their progress and overcoming current challenges.
This support doesn’t only benefit students— The Clinics create flexible development and volunteering opportunities for corporate employees. Our coaching model offers industry experts a valuable chance to engage with emerging changemakers and future talent while giving back to the community and contributing to a shared mission of shaping responsible leaders.
At our core, we are advocates for experience-based learning, and the Coaching Clinics embody this perfectly. Volunteers have the opportunity to develop both personal and professional skills by directly engaging in coaching students, building key abilities in problem-solving, mentoring, and communication. This time around, 100% of coaches said they would recommend the programme, and 100% shared that the experience gave them a stronger sense of fulfilment through supporting future talent.
“I love the Enactus programme it is such a powerful way of connecting the dynamic passion of the student body, with the knowledge and capability of big business; to reimagine the social, environmental and economic challenges of the world today. Every time I interact with the teams I come back to my own role with a renewed energy , inspired to do better.”
Additionally, our Coaching Clinics demonstrate how engaging with industry experts drives meaningful impact. By connecting students with professionals who can help them unblock challenges and refine their ideas, we see a clear improvement in confidence and project quality.
This is reflected in the 96% of students who reported that the support they received from coaches added meaningful value to their project. Additionally, 96% of our students now feel more confident in their project ideas, and 96% feel more equipped to engage with external stakeholders, key skills for developing the next generation of responsible leaders.
“It was an excellent opportunity as me and my team got to learn from the wealth of experience from the coaches. They opened our eyes to opportunities we had missed or weren't even aware of. They also provided us with intelligent answers, roadmaps and strategies to reach our goals.”
A big thank you to all our volunteers and coaches who dedicated their time to join us in this mission. Your contributions are vital to our programme and to the development of future talent. It was inspiring to see such energy, thoughtful ideas, and meaningful conversations between students and coaches throughout the sessions.
