NextGenLeaders brings home Climate Pioneer Award at the 2026 P.E.A. Awards
We are incredible proud to share that NextGenLeaders, one of our key Enactus UK & Ireland programmes, took home the “Climate Pioneer” Award at the 2026 P.E.A Awards Held during London Climate Action Week, these awards celebrate organisations and programmes that create tangible, positive change for both people and planet.

The P.E.A. (People. Environment. Achievement.) Awards recognise individuals, organisations and initiatives that are making a meaningful contribution to sustainability, social impact and ethical business. Bringing together Changemakers from across sectors, the awards celebrate those creating lasting positive change for people and the planet.
We were honoured to receive the Climate Pioneer Award for the work NextGenLeaders is doing to empower young people to lead on climate action. Through the programme, students develop innovative solutions to environmental challenges in their schools and communities, turning ideas into real-world impact. It's fantastic to see this recognised by the judges, who highlighted the power of giving young people the trust, tools and support to create meaningful change.
It was great to see in the feedback that the judges highlighted our impact saying: "NextGenLeaders shows that young people most affected by environmental inequality are ready to lead when given trust, tools, and support."
The event itself was an incredible celebration of the people, projects and organisations driving the work today to build a better future for us all.
We honestly couldn't be happier with the recognition and are so grateful to the young people, teachers, schools, volunteers, partners and supporters who make NextGenLeaders possible.
