Upskilling Our Changemakers: Career Accelerators 2025
In today’s increasingly competitive graduate market, students face a growing challenge: navigating a complex recruitment landscape that demands far more than academic achievement alone. Many find themselves struggling to craft standout CVs, write compelling cover letters, demonstrate commercial awareness, and perform confidently in interviews and assessment centres. Without targeted support, these hurdles can become significant barriers to securing meaningful employment and beginning a successful career journey.
Our Response: Career Accelerators 2025
Over 175 Enactus students joined our Career Accelerators, a series of virtual masterclasses designed to provide students the skills, confidence and knowledge to succeed in the current day graduate job market. With joint efforts and exclusive sessions with HSBC, BDO, Unilever, British Airways and Enterprise Mobility, our Changemakers had the exclusive opportunity to engage with industry experts and gain practical insights to life after graduation.
The sessions focused on various aspects of the recruitment process: From commercial awareness to interviews, assessment centres, CVs, and personal branding. Each session was key in providing students with the right tools and confidence to navigate the recruitment process.
Impact
100% of participants reported feeling confident in at least one area of the recruitment process following the sessions.
Across all sessions, average student confidence increased by over 50% between pre- and post-session surveys.
Students demonstrated the greatest growth in interview performance, which increased by 78%, and assessment centre readiness, which grew by 65%.
By providing our focused Career Accelerator sessions, in collaboration with our corporate partners, we ensure that our Enactus students enter the graduate job market with enhanced skills and the confidence and motivation to make meaningful impact. In the process of providing our students with expert insights and practical guidance, we equip them with valuable skills and tools, adn thus, directly shapingthe next generation of responsible leaders.
