Action4Impact: Enactus Challenge, Powered by Schroders
Introducing the Action4Impact: Enactus Challenge 2024, powered by Schroders! This is an opportunity for individuals or teams of students to win seed funding and industry-level support to accelerate project ideas that impact their local community. The Enactus Challenge is aimed at project ideas that:
“Demonstrate entrepreneurial leadership to drive business and innovation for sustainable positive impact to benefit people, planet, and prosperity”
Enactus Challenge projects should:
Identify a clear social or environmental need within a community
Introduce new or improve upon existing ideas, services, technologies, products or methodologies
Apply sound business principles and a business plan to ensure your idea is financially sustainable
Must be at the Ideation or Implementation stage and not (yet!) made an impact
Applications are open to ALL students, either as individuals or as part of a team!
When submitting a project to the Action4Impact: Enactus Challenge please ensure that all individuals and team members are registered as Enactus Members. Register here before you submit your application.
*Teams entering this competition need to have at least 50% non-final year students so they can continue into 2024/2025.

Background
Schroders aim to have a positive impact in everything they do. They work to contribute to a more equal and inclusive society through many community and social impact initiatives. Schroders partners with organisations that promote equality, protect the planet, and encourage employees to volunteer, donate, and fundraise. Furthermore, they are committed to breaking down barriers and creating a more equal world by providing opportunities to underrepresented groups and empowering people to build a better world.
Schroders is partnering with Enactus UK & Ireland to empower students to develop impactful sustainable social action projects and help make the world a better more sustainable place for all.
Timeline
Stage 1: Application Deadline - 20th March 2PM GMT!
Registration is now open for the exploration and launch session for the Action4Impact: Enactus Challenge - DEADLINE 20th March, 5PM GMT!
Stage 2: Project Development Sessions - 28th March 2024
Successful applicants will be invited to a virtual project and pitch support session for in-depth guidance and support ahead of your in-person pitching!
Stage 3: Final Round Pitching (In Person): 8th April 2023 13:30 - 17:30
The top projects will be invited to an exclusive event on 8th April where they will present their project to a panel of judges from across the Enactus Network. The winner of the Enactus challenge will be announced on the day, before then having the opportunity to pitch against the other 3 Top teams for each of the other Action4Impact Project Incubators! The overall winner will be announced the following day live on stage at the National Expo!
