Each year, they recruit talented graduates, like yourself, to join them on their two-year programme. During the two years on programme, you’ll get the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge through three, eight-month placements* across their business, giving you business wide experience and exposure to all things transport and warehousing. The key purpose of the programme is to harness and develop exceptional talent into future managers.

The programmes are for final year students, recent graduates and post-graduates. They typically run for one to two years. Throughout the programme you’ll have responsibility for delivering real projects enabling you to develop the skills and experience you'll need to succeed in future roles. Graduate Leadership Programme 2025
Salary: Starting at £28,000, rising to £29,000 after 12 months.
Duration: Three 8-month long placements across the UK in leadership roles.
Locations: Your placements could be anywhere in the UK where you’ll be based on site. You’ll need to be open to relocating or travel to ensure you can learn as much as possible! XPO will support you by offering travel, relocation and hotel support when moving placements.
Benefits: 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What will you be doing?
You’ll be stepping into a leadership role on each placement whether that be a Team Leader, Shift Manager or Warehouse Manager. You’ll have a team, daily accountabilities and exposure to everything you need to become a leader of the future.
Every day will bring new challenges and opportunities. You’ll be an integral part of the operation, with responsibilities that could include:
Running your own shift and leading your frontline teams.
Working with the team to support the customer relationship and solving real-time issues.
Working within warehouse operations, such as supporting XPO’s drivers to overcome road or delivery point challenges.
Supporting the wellbeing and performance of your team.
Contributing to key projects in sustainability, continuous improvement, and new site launches
